Merriam-Webster: Belief

I was 5 years old when my family moved to the US, and the first book I had access to was the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Can’t say much for the plot, but I know I referenced it quite a bit while learning English.

I wanted to animate the word “belief” in a kinetic type piece, as defined by Merriam-Webster dictionary, because of the reminder it represents in any new endeavor.

Intentions & initial sketches:

For this piece, I knew I wanted to keep the design language simple and focus on fluidity of the camera and type movement.

Since belief is often placed in an outer-worldly presence or idea, I wanted these scenes to take place in an environment resembling outer space.
